Financing in the amount of $46 M for a mixed commercial and RPA real estate project on the South Shore of Montréal

The Gascon & associates team, led by M^e Nicolas Lanthier, acted as legal counsel for First National Financial, LP, represented by Simon Verdy, Assistant Vice President, Commercial Financing, in the context of a long-term financing (guaranteed term of 10 years) for a mixed real estate project, destined for commercial use and a seniors’ residence located on the South Shore of Montréal. Despite the pandemic context, the Gascon team set up the securities and prepared the documentation required by the lender, within a short period of time, thus allowing the borrower to benefit from the advantageous rates offered on the market in the current context.
