Rebecca Simon joins Gascon & associates

A new recruit to our team of notaries, Rebecca Simon enriches the expertise and reputation of Gascon & associates with her academic background as well as her professional and community involvement.

Prior to her arrival, Rebecca spent nearly 3 years with St-Jacques & Daoust, notaries inc. in Saint-Jérôme, Québec, during which time she completed her master’s degree in notarial law and joined the Chambre des notaires in 2021. It was while working in this Laurentian-area firm that she developed her skills in real estate law and title examination, her area of specialization within the Gascon team.

In addition to obtaining her master’s degree there, Rebecca completed two bachelor’s degrees at the Université de Montréal, one in law and the other in industrial relations, and was president of the student association. Her involvement extends beyond the walls of the University as she has also volunteered at Robin des Bois, a non-profit restaurant located in Parc Lafontaine in Montreal, whose mission is to help overcome loneliness, social isolation and poverty.

Rebecca is also involved with several professional associations, including the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers (CABL).
