AUDREY ROBITAILLE

Audrey Robitaille joined Gascon first as a law student and then as an articling student in the summer of 2011. She was promoted as a partner of the firm at the beginning of 2019. Her practice is mainly focused on real estate and commercial law where she acts as a counselor and negotiator in the fields of financing, property acquisitions, business law and partnership agreements. As such, she advises on commercial real estate sales and purchases and development projects, and represents financial institutions and private lenders regarding real estate financings.
In her practice, Audrey Robitaille has developed expertise with contractor’s licences and with the Régie du bâtiment du Québec and has given several lectures on this matter.
Audrey Robitaille further developed expertise in technologies and data centers.
For many years, Audrey Robitaille worked closely with an important fiber optic corporation in order to provide them with legal advice in technology and commercial law. She negotiated and implemented various service agreements, master service agreements (MSA), rights of way and easements, confidentiality agreements, licences, IRU fiber agreements and software source code escrow agreements.
For data center operators, she negotiates master service agreements (MSA), service and colocation agreements, agreements regarding electricity demand while also working on internal policies regarding data, security and confidentiality and assisting the procurement department. She further coordinates any needs for development of additional data centers and their inherent construction.
Audrey Robitaille has been actively involved in setting up the firm’s Startup G program in order to provide quality legal services to entrepreneurs and start-ups. Audrey Robitaille works with entrepreneurs in all stages of their projects providing sound legal advice during the various growth phases of their businesses.
Audrey Robitaille is also the partner in charge of the marketing and communications of the firm.
The practice of Audrey Robitaille has led her to participate in conferences on real estate development and financing including, conferences organized by the firm and with Open Forum.
She was a member of the board of directors of the Fondation du Collège-Charlemagne and was a member of the organizing committee for an event benefitting the Montréal Children’s Hospital Foundation.
For 5 years, she was a member of “Les Jeunes Ambassadeurs”, a committee of the Urban Development Institute of Québec (IDU)—Montréal Division. The role of this committee is to establish and promote a network of young professionals in real estate. During her mandate, Audrey Robitaille actively worked on the subcommittee that implemented the IDU mentoring program.
