CATHERINE DEMERS
Attorney
Catherine first joined the firm as an articling student and then as an attorney. She has a practice focused on real estate and corporate law, particularly in the establishment of partnership and real estate financing, both with financial institutions and private lenders. She regularly acts in relation to financing involving the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
During her studies, Catherine studied at the University of Adelaide in Australia as part of a student exchange program focused on corporate law. She has also obtained a certificate in Chinese law from the China University of Political Science and Law and completed an international training in Brazil on the study of various legal issues related to information technology. Due to these opportunities, Catherine further expanded her knowledge of business law and information technology law.
In addition to completing her internship, Catherine completed a Master’s Degree in Business Law – product and financial markets option at the Université de Montréal.
