Frederic joined the firm of Gascon in 2021 to practice with the dispute resolution as well as the business law groups. His litigation experience covers a broad range of civil and commercial cases, including insurance, corporate, real estate, succession, civil liability and securities fraud. He can represent clients at all level of the courts in Quebec and Ontario.
Frederic also advises on strategic transactions and on the drafting of various commercial agreements involving partnerships, financing, leasing, franchising and licensing.
Frederic previously worked with other law firms in Montreal and trained with the International Arbitration group of major international law firms based in London and Paris. He also assisted arbitral tribunals sitting under the aegis of the ICSID, ICC and UNCITRAL.
Frederic is fluent in English and French, holds a Bachelor of Sciences from McGill University in addition to both LLB (cum laude) and JD from the joint civil and common law program at the University of Montreal. He also earned a Diploma in English Law from The University of Birmingham (U.K.) and a Diploma in International Arbitration from Pennsylvania State University (U.S.A.). Frederic is a member of the Young Bar Association of Montreal, the London Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Young Canadian Arbitration Practitioners.
