Mélissa Dion

Notary

Mélissa became a notary in 2016 and joined the Gascon team in 2022. Her practice is mainly centered on real estate, commercial and co-ownership laws. She serves a clientele composed of financial institutions, lenders, investors, developers and corporations, and is involved in major financings and acquisitions. Throughout her career, she has also coordinated the delivery of important divided co-ownership projects.

Mélissa is passionate with transmitting legal knowledge and actively participates in the training of the next generation of notaries. She notably led an event funded by the Chambre des notaires du Québec to facilitate the recruitment and pairing of interns and internship supervisors in notarial law.

Mélissa holds a master’s degree from Université Sherbrooke in notarial law, a bachelor’s degree in civil law from Université de Montréal and a bachelor’s degree in arts from McGill University.
